NARM Wants Your Role Models

The NARM Role Model Project wants you to send in your British male role models of African descent....

BTWSC has been successful in winning its second Heritage Lottery Funding. This time round, the funding is to allow the organisation to highlight British male role models of African descent during 1907-2007, which will be made available in a free DVD, booklet and a dedicated microsite.

Whilst the project has the potential to outlast its initial one year duration through updating information on the microsite, in order for nominees to make the ranking lists in the booklet and video interviews (providing they are alive), nominations must be received by Feb. 28 2009.

For more information or to make your nomination, please click NARM Project.

28/01/09 Update: We're organising the Do We Need Role Models? open discussion event on Thursday Feb. 19 2009, 6.30-8.30pm. Please click for more information
