Ghanaian-born Dame Betty Asafu-Adjaye's Brent-based charity Mission Dine Club (MDC) has been reachin

Ghanaian-born Dame Betty Asafu-Adjaye's Brent-based charity Mission Dine Club (MDC) has been reaching out to the the elderly and vulnerable citizens of north-west London for over twenty years. Sadly, MDC is terribly under-funded. BTWSC co-ordinator Ms Serwah is thus organising a media awareness and fundraising luncheon on Friday June 27 2008, 12noon-3pm.

In addition to delicious food, there will be fun - music, give-aways, and a raffle - so bring your money or cheque book! MDC Centre is at Fry Road, Harlesden, London NW10 4BZ (next to junction of Longstone Avenue/Drayton Road at the back of John Buck House)

You can support by making a donation, offering raffle prizes, or by buying a ticket. Tickets cost £25 (£80 for 4 tickets). Cheques for tickets or donations to be made in the name of Mission Dine Club and posted MDC Luncheon, c/o BTWSC, P O Box 14092, London NW10 1WL. For more information: Ms Serwah, info@btwsc.com, 020 8450 5987.

Tickets can also be purchased from these Harlesden outlets:
Sounds II, Bank Buildings, High St, London NW10 4LT

Starlight Records, 17 Craven Park Road, London NW10 8SE

Life FM, Above Abbey Bank, Manor Park Road, London NW10 4NX (ask for Helen)
