BTWSC runs music industry courses for adults, and young people, including those not in education, employment or training (NEET). The duration varies from half-day to 8-14 weeks. The courses are either organised by BTWSC or commissioned by outside agencies
The duration and depth of these courses depends on the funding available or the criteria set by the commissioning agency. Also, it may sometimes include a creative sessions, where participants compose and record a song.
The courses are unaccredited. However, BTWSC is in the process of designing a number accredited music industry courses from the middle of 2009. Whilst our courses have traditionally been free, some courses may be paid for. Later on, we'll be looking at developing distance learning courses too.
